This is a more comprehensive process where the accused partner provides a full written account of past behaviors, and the polygraph is used to verify the honesty of that disclosure. Is the process confidential?
Completely. All of our examinations are conducted under strict confidentiality. No results are shared with any third party without your explicit consent. We understand how sensitive this process is, and we treat every client with the utmost discretion.
What does the exam experience feel like?
Many clients arrive anxious — that's entirely normal. Our office environment is designed to be calm and private. You'll start with a pre-test interview where the examiner gets to know your specific situation, explains the process fully, and works with you to finalize the questions. You'll then be connected to the polygraph sensors, which are completely harmless and non-invasive. The actual chart collection phase is typically 20–30 minutes. Results are discussed with you on the same day. The entire process usually takes 90 minutes to two hours.
Does being nervous affect the results?
This is one of the most common concerns we hear. General nervousness about taking the test does not cause a false result. The examination is designed to account for baseline anxiety. What matters is the difference in your physiological responses between neutral questions and the relevant test questions — not your overall stress level.
What happens after the test?
You receive a clear, written report from a certified examiner. Whether the result is Truthful (NDI — No Deception Indicated) or Deceptive (DI — Deception Indicated), you leave with documented clarity that you can use in conversations with your partner, your therapist, or your attorney.
